What is Botox?

The injection of neuromodulators blocks the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter. This prevents the muscle cells from contracting from movements that cause wrinkling of the skin. Botox works by relaxing the contraction of muscles. When the muscles become stiff, wrinkles relax and soften. occaecati cupiditate non provident.

Botox for TMJ and Chronic Migraine Relief

Botox for TMJ and Chronic Migraine Relief Did you know that Botox can be used to treat TMJ and Chronic Migraines? BOTOX® relieves jaw tension by reducing the intensity of unconscious muscle movements that cause chronic migraines and jaw pain.

Lip Flip

A Lip Flip involves injecting a small amount of Botox into the upper lip muscle causing the lip to relax and “flip” upwards. The result is a natural-looking pout and an upper lip that doesn’t tuck under and gets lost when you smile. A lip flip is also great for those who want to show less of a gummy smile or who want to achieve the appearance of a fuller looking upper lip without filler. Fun fact: Lip flips prolong the duration of time that hyaluronic acid lip filler lasts!
